Is the park handicap accessible? YES

Do you have wheelchairs/motorized carts? NO

Do you have season passes? YES - $70 and includes both steam and beach trains. (see Online Store to purchase)

Is there a price for just visiting the park, not including the trains?
NO, Admission to the grounds (not the park) is free except during special events. Admission to the Civil War event during Memorial Day Weekend is $5 per person and parking is $7 per car. Guests who purchase train tickets receive $2 off admission.

Do you offer a family pass? NO

Is there a charge for parking? YES $7.

How late are you open? Parking closes at 5:00 p.m., unless trains are operating.

Are animals allowed at the park? YES, on leash. Dog muzzles available.

Do you have kennel facilities? NO

Are pets allowed aboard the Santa Cruz, Big Trees & Pacific Railway? Dogs are permitted aboard the train, however it is at the discretion of the conductor of whether or not the dog will need to wear a muzzle. Muzzles are available to borrow at no charge at the Roaring Camp Ticket Office. Animals needed to assist guests (such as guide dogs) are welcome at the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Other pets, however, are not allowed on the Boardwalk or at the Santa Cruz city main beach. A “doggie” beach is available next to the Lighthouse on West Cliff Drive (hours are restricted) and there are several boarding/kennel facilities within the Santa Cruz area.

Can I bring my RV to the park? YES, but not overnight.

Is there public transportation to the park? Santa Cruz Metro Transit Route 34 stops at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park and Felton Covered Bridge a short walk from Roaring Camp. Taxis from Santa Cruz also visit.

Do you offer a AAA discount? NO. From time-to-time, we place advertising in tourist publications such as AAA magazines and will offer a limited discount offer, but we are not authorized by AAA to offer a AAA Show Your Card and Save Discount.
