The most exciting place for that special birthday party is waiting for you at Roaring Camp. We offer unique party packages: a private caboose festively decorated, a charming one-room schoolhouse, a blue ox canopy package, and a Thomas the Tank Engine™ package.

Besides private and playful venues, no birthday party at Roaring Camp would be complete without a steam train excursion to Bear Mountain and back. You can customize your birthday party with entertainment options such as clowns, face painting, puppet shows, gold panning, candle making, a bounce house, and more.

The Caboose Package

Imagine your own private caboose awaiting you on a special railroad siding at Roaring Camp, festively decorated with colorful balloons.

Your package will include:

• Party favors for up to 28 little guests (paper engineer hats and train whistles).

• A Roaring Camp engineer’s hat and scarf for the birthday child.

• Six picnic tables covered in checkered cloths and decorated with balloons. Fifty-five gallon barbecue barrel for light cooking.

• Your caboose is joined to the last scheduled train of the day for a 75-minute excursion through the redwood forest to Bear Mountain and back to Roaring Camp.Your private car is returned to its private railroad siding.

• Maximum capacity is 28 people.Additional tickets may be purchased with the caboose package at the general group rate for space in the adjacent car.

One-Room Schoolhouse Package

Have a private little party in a charming one-room schoolhouse. Enough room to seat up to 20 little ones. Party favors (paper hats and train whistles) for up to 20 children. Balloons and decorations.

Your package will include:

• Four picnic tables covered in checkered cloths on a large deck with enough seating for up to 24 accompanying moms and dads. Great location, adjacent to open fields for games, semi-private site. Portable barbecue barrel is available for light cooking..

• General group rates available for train excursion when purchasing 25 tickets or more or special discount coupons provided for individual purchase at time of package purchase.

Blue Ox Canopy Package

Celebrate your special day under Blue Ox canopies. Decorated in 1880’s Americana colors, the canopies set the theme for merriment.

Your package will include:

• Party favors (paper hats and train whistles) for up to 28 children. A genuine engineer’s cap for the honoree. Up to 6 picnic tables covered in checkered cloths and an old time camp barbecue barrel for light cooking.

• General group rates available for train when purchasing 25 tickets or more or special discount coupons provided at time of package purchase and upon request.

• Maximum capacity up to 50 persons.

Thomas the Tank Engine™ Package

Thomas the Tank Engine™ themed party for the aspiring engineer. Outdoor picnic area for up to 20 little guests. Additional picnic tables nearby for accompanying moms and dads.

Your package will include:

• Thomas the Tank Engine™ goodie bags.

• Picnic tables with table cover and balloons.

• Thomas the Tank Engine™ piñata.

• Canopy covers.

• Thomas the Tank Engine™ decorated birthday cake (1/4 sheet cake for 15-20 pp).
